This is my first post on my new blog. In the past I’ve had a blog or two but never really published much. The problem was that I always wanted to write pieces that were wonderful and well thought out and of course nothing I ever wrote was good enough. So I’m changing that now.

My intentions with this blog are to just post stuff that comes to mind. I like taking pictures sometimes, so I’ll post those if I like them. If I find something interesting online or want to remember something for the future, I might write about it here.

So that leads us to what that interesting stuff might be, you know, so you can decide if you want to read my stuff or not. I like tech stuff, but not too technical. I’m currently learning to be a web/app developer, so naturally I’m interested in CSS, Javascript, HTML, maybe some framework things. I also like Linux and open source.

I like going on walks a lot. My boyfriend has a dog and we go on long walks sometimes, and if I see something that catches my eye, I snap a pic with my phone. They’re not great pics, but they’ll do. I also enjoy artsy stuff, politics (sometimes), languages and linguistics, literature, knitting. There’re probably a lot of things I’m forgetting at the moment, but they’ll come.

Anyway, I guess that’s it for now. I’ll try to add a pic to see how that process goes.

That was relatively pain-free. The raw pic was too big too upload. The max file size for this blog is 5MB, but they said somewhere that 1400pix width is big enough to look good, so I just resized the pic to that width and it was only 1.3MB or something.
